"When your kids give you a messy house, just embrace it!
I'm not saying embrace it long term, but just for the moment. The house will always be clean and then dirty, and dirty again. However, you have this one beautiful moment to enjoy your kids, and you better take it.
There is no better reason to have us come help. Honestly, we're not just trying to bring you on as a client. I found in my life when I was able to step back from the "TO DO" lists I had going on, I could take a breath and enjoy my wonderful family.
My husband and I have now been married for 12 years. We are best friends, but we noticed the number 1 thing we always fight about is a messy house. We both work, and we both make a mess, and we both clean. But somehow, we were always two steps behind.
The first time we even hired someone to come clean for us, I put out an ad for a university student to come whenever they were free. They could use our supplies and clean our small condo as best they could. We didn't have much of a budget, so we knew we wouldn't get the best help, but anything was more than we currently had. Some of the girls we had come were better than others, of course. But we found it gave us a weekly baseline to work from. I would still deep clean the bathroom and kitchen weekly to make sure it was sanitized the way I wanted, and I always enjoyed having the extra help.
Ultimately, the biggest perk for us was we actually fought less. We felt like we could keep on top of things just that much more.
Now that we have kids, the help is needed more than ever, and that baseline keeps our head above water.
But no matter what, I try and see the messy house moments with perspective and know that the time with my kids is short-lived. For the rest of my life until I die, I will have a messy house from time to time. "
